Further south you go the more natural the beach becomes, which is lovely but there aren't any signs at the exits so take a picture where you enter the beach to make it easy to find your way back. Sand isn't very nice here, it varies from coarse to shingle and everything between. Take proper sandles to avoid the discomfort! We actually decided to visit the nude beach as it was away from the loud families with dogs and children, bars and music. Genuinely a lovely experience but the walk back was very long!…

Go for Marina di Cecina, it has more life and more shops and restaurants and bars. Walking the boulevard in the evening is nice.
