Located at the "top" of the palace gardens, these Giardino Inglese are not to be missed. If you are not up for the walk up, up, up the vast length of hill, certainly treat yourself to the bus ride or horse jitney which, for a few euro, will deliver you close(r) to the entrance to the large, yet intimate, space.... One of the most beautiful garden ever visited. I visited it when i was a child and then again few months ago and is still awesome. The Giardino Inglese (English Garden) is vast, with myriad of paths, creeks, little water falls, lakes, statues and ruins from Pompeii. It is a real delight to visit it particularly in spring when flowers... More

Walking up the hill from Reggia Caserta (The Royal Palace of Caserta), actually riding the rent bicycle, it starts all of a sudden a typical summer rain, short and warm, although it was October, but the Mediterranean weather was just doing it’s job. We, me and my wife and some friends, had to shelter under some umbrella-like trees and since... More

From the back of the Palace to the English Garden entrance, it is nearly three kilometers, it takes about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. At the end of the walk is a waterfall which cascades into the Fountain of Diana and Actaeon. On the right hand side of the fountain is the entrance to the English Garden. These gardens... More

I walked the grounds of Caserta Palace. Great place for walks. The English Gardens is good. It will be stunning once spring is sprung and the flowers and leaves return. 12€ for the combined garden and palace, though today we skipped the inside. Maybe next time.

Even if you feel tired from the long gradually ascending road from the palace along the fountains, do not forget to turn to the right side at the end. Don't miss the English garden! Just... DON'T! It is just marvelous! We spent a couple of hours there and I'm sure that we were not able to discover all of the... More

Accessed as part of the gardens of the Royal Palace the English Garden is large but we felt unkempt. Get the minbus up from the palace because the walk is long, up hill and very hot in the summer

What a magnificent experience! Allow lots of time to explore the vast gardens (designed Landscape) and also a tour of the interior of the Palace. Simply Marvellous!
