About

During a somewhat rare rainy day we visited this museum. Entrance was free for kids we paid 10€ for each adult. It is small but entertaining. The race comes to life with the info on the tablet you get at the check in as well as the nice ambiance. Too bad there was no Ferrari on display, that would have added to to stature of the museum. But you can SPOT Aston Martin, Bentley some very nice Mercedes and of course many Italian brands.

We spend about 1,5 hrs inside, but I think most people will spend just a mere hour.

Parking in front of the entrance around the old monastery, which houses the museum.

All in all happy we chose to visit this venue😀

We visited during the mille miglia week 2019. Very busy. Maybe our expectation was high but considering the myth behind the race and the rest of the organization the overall level of the mille miglia experience we lived in Brescia piazza Victoria this expo was very underwhelming. the location from outside it looks nice when inside a small shop, some panels, a limited car collection but there are at least 10 of the most beautiful Autos and you can smell the tradition but do not feel the great story. It is very sad to see such a historical importance and expensive piece of machinery scattered throughout a Kloster with clear signs of neglect. the expo it is a humble walk and at the end of it the a strange fact of a local mercedes dealer Stand sponsoring the museum. the promo also sad. did not make much sense to us. was expecting a theater but we found a dusty memorabilia collective. They should invest in marketing & retail for the flagship Mille miglia location, considering the huge business of the classic cars, i think they do not miss the money.

We decided to drive the Mille Miglia route in our convertibe and so we started our roadtrip with a visit to the museum. It was the perfect start. the museum has many MM cars on display and also shows a lot of footage of the actual races when they were still held as a race. (nowadays there is an annual MM vintage car event, but not a race). If you watch the films of the race you can imagine an accident was always waiting to happen. The museum is very intersting and has some great cars on display, in a perfect setting. The entrance fee is very reasonable at 8 euro. Room for improvement: 1) some of the information given is in Italian and not in English. 2) Most of the races were won by Ferrari's, especially the last couple of races. Unfortunately there were no Ferrari's on display when we were there.
Nonetheless, there we some fabulous and priceless cars shown and for us te visit was well worth it.

Nice museum, with quite a lot of info on Mille Miglia ralley (although a lot in Italian). Several cars from that time, including two Bugatti's and several Alfa's, Fiat's and some Ferrari's. however, maybe spoiled by other car museums, was not very impressed (maybe also as I did not take a lot of time)

There was nice information, videos and stories about Mille Miglia race. Good collection of genuine race cars. You can spend 1-2 hours there and reading about history, lot of other stuff like petrol meters and old workshop tools.

I love Italy and my husband loves cars. This is not even a compromise but a very well executed collection. The exhibits are interesting, well-lit, and contain cars that one might not see anywhere else. Besides actual cars, there are clothes from the same era on display by the relate car. (There is also a restaurant in case you arrive or depart midday!)

as me and my man are not so keen on cars we made it in 20 min. for car lovers probably a must.
its outside the city centre of Brescia - and Brescia is probably a must of Lombardic so, if you have an hour to spare and 8 EUR go ahead

I was visiting Brescia with a group of friends and really wanted to see this museum, but since I was only one interested in cars I was scared that others would hate me for dragging them there. Well, in the end we all had a good time and it's worth hearing the truly interesting history of the race and the region as well. You get a tablet as an audio/video guide included in the price of admission and it's really great, so be sure to take it.
