This church really blew us away. You walk in expecting an average regional church but this place is spectacular. It's dark and brooding and you can't take any photos inside. It's a total contrast to Bra's other delight Santa'Chiara, also worth checking out.

The exterior is undergoing a major renovation, but the church is still open. You just need to enter from the side. The interior is dark, but still beautiful, especially the altars and sculpture. The three main altars were added in the early 1900’s.

Bra has a beautiful church where there is no crowds pushing, where you have time to study the art, and time to sit in quiet contemplation.

This church is amazing! Really beautiful, all inside is perfect and really impressing. If you are around, that's somewhere that you REALLY have to see.

Thank Volkweis
