We really enjoyed visiting this museum, for which you need 2-3 hours. The ground floor has a stunning display of Etruscan artifacts and writing, explaining how the Etruscans used writing in funerary, religious and commercial contexts. Also on the ground floor is an extensive display...More

A much bigger and more interesting collection than we'd expected, in a historically evocative setting (a former monastery built onto the side of the city's ancient Roman arena). Hardly anyone goes, and it's a bargain (get the combination ticket for this, the Vasari house and...More

This was an easy museum to visit without the crowds of summer tourism. The collections are impressive examples of early art and history.

The museum sheds light on the Arezzo history and it's Archaeology. Nicely organized and not too overloaded with items. Worth a visit. Wonderful display of terra sigillata pottery.

Lots to see in this museum. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately very little has English explanation. Some rooms have one sheet of English explanation. Some rooms have none.

Rooms decorated in Roman or Etruscan style, a Roman amphitheater, ceramic and glass artifacts and statues, coins and many other antiquities are here. I wish there had been more information, though they did have informational sheets in multiple languages.
