A small group managed to get in before closing to tour the museum and baptistery. The museum was very interesting, the guide wonderful. But the real treat was the baptistery. Set below the present city and full of tombs, a wonderful history lesson.

We had very little time, only visited the 5th century octagonal baptistry but this is the star attraction of the largely medieval town.

Albenga hides wonderful old building among them this one dating back to the first centuries BC . The building is relevant for its shape its windows and its mosaics in the inner part. Very interesting also the visit to the museum

Battistero is from second century, and even a museum deserve a visit. Near Baptistery there is a old tower, the view on the old town deserve the fatigue to climb up
