Had a brilliant afternoon at Leo's tavern. We were served with a great sandwich and chips lunch and entertained in various ways throughput the afternoon. Interesting and informative but amusing talk, super music and typical Irish tales and amazing accapella singing by the lovely young man who served our lunch! Great craic!!

The staff were attentive and professional. The place pleasant. The chowder was nice and the fish and chips were nice tho the chips are frozen. But dear oh dear...the burger. Its one thing to get a dry tough burger in the chipper for four quid, but this cost 17 euros. Dry Crispy brioche bun and tough lifeless patty with a blob of cheese stuck to it. Not the worst burger ive had but wow ...a poor effort for 17 quid? Cmon guys, you let yourselves down.

While in the area, we were recommended to visit Leo’s tavern. It was mis afternoon so we stopped for drinks and we’re entertained by the owner and staff with stories and history of the bar and it’s family roots. Wish we were there when there was live music!

Visited here as part of a tour off a Saga cruise. It was a real treat to experience some authentic Irish music. It was late morning so an Irish Coffee was the only drink appropriate but even at that time of day the atmosphere was exceptional and on a “music night” it must be very special. If we ever return to Donegal we would hope to make a return visit.

Went here with some friends a few weeks ago and we were unfortunate that we had the Scottish woman with the bad attitude as our server. ~(we heard some stories before we arrived) Food was mediocre at best and there was some music played over the speakers. Place was nearly empty.

We ate here with three young children aged 3/5/8. Service was very good, place itself is very homely. Food was fantastic both for the children and ourselves and it was very reasonable. We would definitely go back and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Sadly we did not have time to stay the night for music but the Beer was Cold and welcome break. Fun to visit having been an Enya fan for years. Would leave a photo if TripAdvisor made it a lot easier.

Went to Leo's after local friend encouraged us to visit for great food and music. Wow! The food was extraordinarily good and the portions are substantial. The Irish Coffee is superb as is the apple pie served there. We almost ordered a pie to go!!! Didn't hurt that I have been an Enya fan for years and years and got to see record memorabilia on the walls either. It is a low key pub that offers great food and a relaxing atmosphere- you won't regret a trip!

We stopped here twice for a snack. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere in Leo's.
