This was a lovely afternoon! The estate is beautiful and the tasting was very (very!) nice too. We ended up buying lots of bottles to bring home. Matteo was our guide, and he was really lovely! Thanks for hosting us, Matteo!

Enjoyed every bit of our visit and tasting! Thank you to Matteo for being so friendly and full of great information beyond a normal winery tour. Sadly we cannot have Contadi Castaldi wines in Canada, so we`ll have to return! ;-)

I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide Matteo was very friendly and informative. The tour takes you through the cellars and the more modern areas of the winery and finishes with a tasting in a beautiful room with great views over the surrounding countryside.

Even though we didn't have a reservation we were given a spontaneous, very personal tour through all the cellars followed by an extensive tasting of franciacorta's finest sparkling wine. Thank you, Matteo, for an awesome experience! We'll sure come back!

I am an unorganized traveler, on a mission to find a nice bottle of sparkling wine for a newly married couple. I biked from my b&b today and found this nice place, I wish I had purchased a tour... So I showed up at the...More
