This establishment is in dire need of a revamp! Many of the exhibits are damaged no doubt as a consequence of long term exposure to the ACT's extremes of weather, but they've not been repaired. Even moving exhibits such as the model railway, windmills etc were broken-down. Very disappointing indeed!!

Cockington Green Gardens has an amazing landscape containing numerous miniature villages and other features from Great Britain as well as Australian and International gardens which have been made to scale. There are free miniature steam train rides and a children's playground, as well as a cafe for when you need to rest and refresh.

Hi Evelyn P, Thrilled that you had such a great time at Cockington Green, however, we do not have free steam train rides. If you purchase our value pack steam train ride tickets are included in that along with discount vouchers and other items. To ride the steam train otherwise there is a $3.00 ticket to purchase. Dinosaur toys in display without disclosure, various doll characters of different sizes, birds were far too large - unrealistic. Displayed numbers not in order. $40 for disappointment. I will not be buying a membership anytime soon. 2/5 for friendly magpies.

Hello cm092017, The dinosaurs in our display are a very popular addition, we enjoy working with our fellow attractions in the Gold Creek area. Our 1/12th scale miniature people come in all shapes and sizes, as do real people. The only scale birds we have in our display are ducks and swans, they also come in varying sizes and we... More

Loved this place! Our five year old absolutely loved it and so did our three year old. Lots to see and do. The plants are beautiful and it is very well maintained. Next time we will bring a picnic.

Admiring the masterpieces, it was a great day out reliving childhood memories. The international section has grown and changed and all the models are incredible.

This place is very interesting. It is beautifully maintained, however there are some aspects that are currently being repaired. I do agree with another reviewer that the fairy garden looks a little cheap and tacky. I think if they put a bit more effort into this, it could be pretty spectacular. Hubby and I did the $46 for two pack,... More

Hi corgan00, Thank you for taking the time to review us, glad you enjoyed our display and the Gold Creek Area. Repairs are an ongoing here due to the volume of use and extreme weather conditions. The fairy garden is designed and use by our youngest of guests and is always evolving. Many Thanks More

I went here kicking and screaming but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and I throughly enjoyed the experience we went in autumn but would have been even better in spring well worth a look reasonable priced

Hi RubyCanberra, Sorry to hear you where disappointed with your visit. The fairy garden is separated from the English display and is a huge hit with our younger visitors and parents, they enjoy driving the train around the brightly lit magical fairy town. We have always had humorous figurines embedded in our display, and feel they do not detract from... More
