More
Founded in 2006, Sedella Vinos S.L. is the personal viticulture and enological project of Lauren Rosillo, a young and innovative Spanish winemaker that produces premium wines in other Spanish regions such as Rioja, Rueda, La Mancha, and Guipúzcoa. Lauren has chosen the Axarquia region in Malaga to execute his successful winemaking formula comprising Terroir + Technique + Task (TTT).The winery, designed by the architect Paco Varela and his team, is located at the top of the property. The building combines vernacular and contemporary architecture and it’s perfectly integrated into the Axarquia´s landscape. The winery, with the most advanced winemaking technology, enhances the ancient techniques of natural winemaking. A long aging period, using new French oak barrels, is a fundamental stage in the making of these wines that can be appreciated in its own tasting room for both wine lowers and professionals. From the top, looking south among vineyards, great views of the Mediterranean Sea can be seen just a few miles away. To the north, the crowning peak of Málaga, La Maroma (6788 feet), is visible as well, covered with snow several months a year. A refuge for animals as the golden eagle and the mountain goat together with an spectacular flora.Sedella offers tastings, activities and guided visits to its wonderfully located vineyards and winery. While traveling through Spain my husband and I wanted to visit a vineyard. Lauren was a warm host who is clearly passionate about his wines. We tasted all three, and they are delicious - Lauren has captured the beauty and aromas of the amazing region...More

This must be one of the smallest fine wine bodegas in Spain. Perched on the crest of a steep hill outside Sedella, this boutique winery is tastfully similar to the local white-washed buildings that can be seen from the viewing balcony in the tasting room....More
