Great Place in Oman

Very nice place to go to while you stay in Muscat. It is far from the Muscat. It takes you about 2 hours to reach there but it is worth it.

Nature at the best. Nice water fall with natural pool. Good for children and adults. Off road trip till the end is thrilling. See to that you fuel tank is full, Tires are in good conditions and carry enough water and food as there is nothing near by areas. Ideal to travel in 4 wheel drive.

Really a good place to visit when in Oman. It offers good views and is very silent.. Also the off road driving experience is something to be enjoyed..

Taken on a tour by my sister and brother in law Fantastic full day out in just the most spectacular setting. Some of the pools were idyllic and you could swim in them, however, be careful as the one we visited had steep, slippy sides. The villages along the way were picturesque and welcoming. We also visited the sink hole... More

There is plenty to do in Muscat for people who like mosques, markets and shopping, but this is the tour for those who want to see something of the countryside. It begins with a drive through the city and then continues along the coast road for a brief stop at the fishing village of Quryat. Unfortunately there was no time... More

A nice place to camp and spend the day. The water was clean and we could see a lot of peiople playing swimming in the water. The drive takes you through a dusty road for around 15 minutes...

Why do I define it as a "proper" Wadi experience? - Because you get all of what I consider the four aspects of a nice and adventurous Wadi visit: off-road driving through winding roads, nice little farms next to the Wadi bed, water running down the wadi and some water crossings, natural Wadi pools in which you can swim! The... More

We went here after the sink hole and had a great walk up to a couple of pools and a little waterfall. We wore all trainers/pumps good for walking, but also OK for walking through the water. Great to visit in the middle of winter. Don't forget to take drinking water.

This will need transport to get there and back. This can be done either as organised tour, or if you have a car you can do this on your own. River wadi with fresh water swimming possible. Great on a hot day!.
