Qurum beach is quite nice for a long walk or run, go for a swim or have a picnic.
There is a bunch of coffee shops so good place to have a coffee or lunch-D'Arcys Kitchen of example, but there is Costa cafe there too.

It was really good and it reminds me of my hometown where beaches are accessible (ILOCOS REGION, PHILIPPINES).. nice and relaxing view plus you can buy barbecues if hunger strikes along the way or you dont have a snack with you.

It's extremely easy to tour around Muscat and therefore from cruise port to most beautiful beaches "Qurum Beach" you can either go by taxi or open tour buses like the one in London. If you time is limited, I strongly suggest that you catch taxi which is not expensive and taxi drivers are extremely friendly and most of them speak decent English...Wishing you pleasant stay in Oman and please do don't hesitate to ask any further questions....
