Suitable for children below 12 years old. Better to be guided with adults to explain the academic contexts, those are good. The games are not in comparison with the ones in new shopping malls. It's open only in the morning hours. Can spend about 1-2 hrs. They charge RO. 1 per adult & Bz 100 for children.

Small museum close to Qurom Park. Kids liked it and you will spent 1 hour for it. Some things are quite interesting and some do not work. But if it is hot day and you have kids, I would say it is worth visiting and kids will like it.

Small place (compared to many others in the region) Some are internactive and really interesting for the kids. Some of them are informative for adults too. Description of many of the exhibits are beginning to fade. Couple of the exhibits are not in working condition. Entrance fee is 1 R.O for adults and 100 baisa for kids.

I recently visited with family, plan was to keep my 7 year old granddaughter occupied for an hour or so before lunch. She thoroughly enjoyed the various interactive displays and exhibits. We stayed for just over an hour and she had seen and done what was needed. Some exhibits were a bit dated but still fun, good for children(and adults)... More

Its a decent science museum for the kids. There are a lot of interactive exhibits which will interest your kids and keep them busy for about a couple of hours. That includes the hot air balloon, balancer etc. Although it is small, it is quite cheap and must definitely be visited for the experience.

Situated in Al Qurum area children's Museum is good for kids upto 10 years of age. Ticket for adults is One Rial Omani and for kids is 100 baiza. The most enjoyable part for my daughter was hot air baloon model. One can plan for 1 hr trip.

We spent an hour here entertaining our son (7) and escaping the heat. There are a variety of interactive exhibits, which explore a range of scientific concepts such as Electrolysis, expansion of gases, sound, visual perception, reaction times, human body... It is open in the morning only, closing at 1pm.
