We arrived at approx 13.30hrs to find that the camera closed at 12.00, still completely our fault, we should have followed the clues....... the camera website does say that they are open when the bunting is hung up outside..... we failed to follow that basic...More

I’ve never been to a camera obscura before so we were glad to visit here on our brief trip to St Marys. It was very informative and both teenage children agreed that it was worth visiting and found it interesting and glad they went.

Obviously a glitch as the question was aimed at a hotel in Italy not a stone tower on Scilly
