Beatiful and strange bridge made by boats.
For centuries this kind of bridge was used as fast construction of a passage to cross a river.
The first costruction of this bridge date 1374 when the powerful Sforza Family who had a castle for hunting trips in Bereguardo decided to built it to continue the hunt also on the opposite side of the river Ticino.
Over the centuries it was restored several times, the last in 1913.

I have been travelling quite a lot but this must be one of the most special bridges I have seen, at least in Europe. It was low tide and therefore it was steep down onto the bridge, making it kind of adventourus, like a wooden bridge in Africa. Must see when in the area!

Sept 2023 • Couples
From a landscape point of view, it says less than zero.
But that's the least of it.
If they don't make a move to renovate it, sooner or later someone will die.
Wooden flooring poorly maintained..
