We had a wonderful day. 2.5 hour walk through Able Tasman from Torrent Bay to Bart Bay I was unsure how it would go as I'm not a huge fan of trekking. It was very doable and beautiful, as was the kayaking that followed. I had never tried sea kayaking and found knowledgeable guides gave me excellent instruction and led... More

Our family of 9 (4 children 10-5) had an awesome time. Brydhi was our tour guide and she was very good, fun and engaging. She makes for an awesome trip. When we arrived at Split Apple rock beach-she prepared wonderful warm coffee drinks for everyone -Mobile Starbucks! She was very adventurous and open to any thing. She also did some... More

What a great experience, with a beautiful person/human being as our guide. We really enjoyed our first sea-kayaking. With Lucy the experience was even more joyfull. She prepared our Starbucks-coffee on the beach and was so very sociable. I - as a coach- think you are a special person who guided us with love and compassion!

We hired a kayak from Kahu for two days so that we could kayak out to one of the beaches in Abel Tasman, camp overnight and then return the next day. I hadn't done anything like this before so didn't really know what to expect but found the experience with Kahu to be a really good one! The briefing was... More

We had a great self-led three day trip so our review only focuses on set-up and pick-up. Booking was easy but set up was hectic. There were about 30-40 people at once trying to get set up on various different tours and trips which meant a drawn out 2-hour set up time before getting out on the water. Because there... More

We had a real great experience with our guide (Dave) who seems enjoying his work. He was helpful as we brought our 10 years old daughter and make her feel comfortable. His explanations were great and he made our day with the "coffee break surprise" after one hour and half kayaking. Good experience and awesome scenery if you come back... More

I had a GREAT day with KahuKayaks. We made a great trip in the Tasman sea. They are really friendly, punctual and good organized. The equipment is good and in a good condition. We had some good waves but I always felt safe with the kayak. And also with the guide. He really knows what he is doing and he... More

I took a 2 day trip - walking to a camping site (multiples options are offered) and cayaking the next. You can rent all the camping gear you need and they will get it to your camping site for you so you donlt have to walk with all of it. The staff was super nice with me - the people... More

We did the Family Cruiser tour and Bridey was our guide. We were the only people on the tour, and it was great. We are Senior Citizens, and Bridey did not try to push us beyond our abilities. She was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna along the way and enjoyable to talk to. We had morning tea on... More
