Abel Tasman water taxi - Anchorage and Te Pukatea. Pitt Head lookout. Taxi from Marahau (12 noon - 4pm). Go straight past Kaiteriteri (unless you want to check out the beach). It is a very busy place and parking is really tricky. We found Marahau much easier to navigate, park and find the transportation options. Went via Split Apple Rock... More

Went in April with my wife and sister and her partner. Got aqua taxi to Anchorage bay then walked back. Great ride out. Vinnie our skipper was knowledgeable and very helpful and had great Kiwi craic and seemed a very able boatman. Took us to see interesting stuff like split apple rock and seals and answered any questions. Landed on... More

perfect way to get around the park, very flexible, drop off and hopp on almost where you want. The driver was very friendly, showed us the "must see" sights, and helped people to get on their way for their walks. Very well organized! Will book again when we come back!

Our group hired a water taxi over two days to transport us to and from the Abel Tasman track. Harley was extremely friendly and helpful (piggy back rides if requested to avoid wet feet), and knew a lot about the area. The company itself is one extremely efficient operation - very impressive.

The aqua taxi is a great way to get around the park, unless you want to devote 2 or more days to backpack and camp out. There are no roads through the park, with the exception of the South and North sides. Very knowledgeable guides. Well worth seeing

This is a great way to see the beaches at Abel Tasman park. The trip starts out with a view of split apple rock before it heads north. We took a trip out to the farthest beach (Totaranui), turned around and then got off at Onetahuti beach. From there we hiked back to Bark Bay and were picked up by... More

I went up to able Tasman park recently to do abit of site seeing (as I've been living in this country for so many year and haven't done it). So I decided to take a water taxi to a bay called anchorage and then walk out. The staff at the taxi company were very helpful and the boat ride smooth.... More

Aqua taxi has it all figured out! Seriously they couldn't mJe it any easier for you. Arrive, pay, jump in boat and they deliver you to the ocean via tractor pull and launch you into the water. Delivery to beach was prompt and in time after a quick thorough few minute tour of a few must see sites- split Apple... More

The sea conditions were not perfect, but the boat handled them well, and we had a very skillful skipper who took us into nooks and cranny's along the coast. We saw seals frolicking in rock pools from up close. We made a return trip stopping for three hours at Awaroa Bay, and having lunch at Peppers Resort. A fantastic day... More

My wife and I did a three hour round trip that was called the Full Scenic Tour. It was a good introduction to the Park. They made their regular stops but also made a few special stops to see wildlife and scenery. They also gave us a lot of insight regarding some of the stops and the Park. We found... More
