This is a well presented museum with excellent history of the Roman occupation of wales. The staff are friendly and informative and there is a shop for gifts. If you are interested. Roman history this is a must visit site.

Fantastic museum based on recovered antiquities of the local area- tied into other local historical edifices (amphitheater and barracks) brings it to life

In a town with some of the best Roman remains in the country you'd expect to find a museum dedicated to Roman Britain. They have some wonderful relics, all beautifully displayed, many amongst the best of their type outside of Italy.

Wow,this is a place not to be overlooked for any age group,so much to see and not at all boring for young children,do yourself a favour and enjoy this treat of a trip into the past!

Yes although a donation box is by the front door, this helps to keep them going.
