This is a great spot to do some lagoon kitesurfing near Jeri! Flat, few kites and also has a nice restaurant to stop and get some energy after or in between the kiting session! Enjoy!!

Guriú beach is the neighbor of posh Jeri. And has white sand dunes and lovely winds.
When in need for a pousada, try this: DuMangue is a great and surprising experience. First and foremost, the young owner family is welcoming, but not too close to their guests. The pousada itself is creatively built, and not finished. It has a small pool, and the outdoor shower comes handy after swimming in the sea.
Most rooms are spacious, in particular the fan-rooms, while air-com rooms are rather small.
Morning surprise is the delicious breakfast with sucos, eggs to order, pao de queso, coffee, yoghourt, cinnamon cake etc. all served as all-you-can-eat.
During the day, however, hordes of tourists on their noisy buggys pass by, some of them having more speakers than conciousness, turning the peaceful place temporarily into a party zone. On sunset, however, they disappear and the birds and the wave is all you hear.
One day, when Lula has solved all other problemes of Brazil, he might give the beaches back to people, and ban all motorvehicles.

For a small fee you can watch seahorses with local fishermans boats. Usually they like to get it on pots to let people see it clearly, but they always put them again on the place that they took them...

White sands, flat water and very strong winds that make it perfect for kitesurfing. Not recommended for those you want to chill and enjoy the sun since the wind is so strong that it will probably drive you crazy. Don't expect to see anything else apart from buggies and kitesurfers having a blast!

The Guriu beach in Jericoacoara area is another nice beach that is frequented by the wind & kite surfers. It is along the route to Tatajuba, so worth a stop for a look and see.

Fantastic flatter water kiting but little else there, no bar or anything else apart from a small kite school so be prepared non kiters! From this beach you can do a 22km downwider all the way to the Tatajuba road.

The Guriú beach is an excellent place for leisure and wind sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing, especially in the season from July to December.
