Very interesting with good explanations in English & Spanish
The museum was newly built and the showcases were filled with artifacts or representations of the life over 1000 years ago in this area

Túcume is my personal favorite site because it's so peaceful and the only noise is the sound of all the birds who are thriving here. The museum is beautiful (completed in 2014) and the signage is excellent in both English and Spanish.

Visited this museum for few hours and did not want to leave. Very detailed and very well presented information. I would come back again.

This museum which details the Sican people was surprisingly our favourite in the region. It certainly helped that the entire museum also has english signage which really helped us have a better understanding and appreciation for the site.

This is out of the way but well worth seeing if you want to understand the chronological history of the country. You must visit the museum in town prior to coming here. If you do, everything will fall into place. This is a work in progress as it was only "discovered" in 1988.

Clearly off the beaten path. "New" museum is excellent with good descriptions in English. Chances are you will be the only visitors as recent floods have damaged nearby roads. Archaeological site is very small compared to others in region.

We spent the whole day wandering around with our guide to most of the sites. This was very good and gave you a good idea to begin your understanding of the Lord of Sipan and the Moche

I really enjoyed the many sites to see in this area of Peru. Not so touristy but we'll worth the trip. This is the real thing!!

Nice museum that explains quite well the Moche culture and its history and societal structure. Connects directly to the Pyramids of Huacas of Túcume.

While this is not as big as other museums, it set out some of the story's of the Sican people who occupied the area at the later part of their civilisation culminating with the Inca conquest and Spanish occupation.

There are some nice displays in here so it is worth a look.
