Church was well maintained with huge lawns. Unfortunately, we couldn't enter as the Church was closed.

Thursday 14th November and we were in Betalbatim where this lovely old Church is located.

Sadly when we visited the Church was closed so we could not go in. However, there was a side area of the Church which was open which we ventured into.

There was a small enclosed altar area, which was dedicated to the memory of a member of the congregation. Further along there were some steps that led past an open window. We climbed the steps and were rewarded with a view inside the Church with it's dark wooden pews and crystal light fittings.

The outside of the Church is so well maintained, the walls are nicely whitewashed. The large grounds were very well immaculately kept.

There is a notice board by the main entrance which details the times of the Services and in which language it will be held. Mass in English is at 09.15 am on Sunday all others are in Konkoni

The Church's Feast Day is the 3rd Sunday in January.

There is a small ornate graveyard a few hundred yards down the road from the Church.

Visited the church whilst staying near Betalbatim. It was well worth taking the time out to walk around this beautifully maintained church and manicured grounds.

I went to the 11;00 Sunday service as it was in English. The church was packed. The local people dress up for Mass. No shorts or T.shirts but a nice dress and definitely shoulders covered. A lovely experience and everyone was so welcoming.

My Daughter was married in this Church on 18 Feb 2017. Words fail me to describe the ambience especially when The Altars are Lighted up. The external facade and the surrounding Garden is impeccably maintained. I used to simply walk around the frontage of the Church that overlooks fields and One feels de stressed and calm as much out of as within this Exceptional Church. It is my favourite Catholic sacred space.. Ultimate " Peace of mind and Soul".

A beautiful Church located in the tiny village of Betabatim, it is locally referred to as the Betalbatim Church.Very well maintained with a freshly painted facade and overlooking paddy fields, the entire area exudes calmness and tranquility. A must visit for travellers in the area. They could probably club it with a trip to the famed Martins Corner!
