We went on the 4 hour tour with another couple and I will definitely go back one day for the 7 hour tour, hopefully with Mr The Amazing Igor! The best tour guide in the world and my number 1 most favorite Slovenian by far....More

We took the 4 hour tour with the tour guide Igor and wouldn't want to have it any other way. Thanks to him we learned about the cave, it's inhabitants and all the different types of stalagmites the cave has to offer. The whole tour...More

If you like exploring caves, you will love this place. Our guide was very knowledgable and the tour was very interesting. I have been to a lot of caves and I found this one very unique. This used to be a cave where bears hibernated...More

These caves were so absolutely incredible from start to finish. Wasn't too sure what to expect, even with pre-booking. Our guide met us before hand, was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the caves & very safety conscious, both for our benefit & for the...More

Ljubljana has a lot of caves to visit, after visit Postonja caves I thought that nothing can surprise me, but this is a different kind of visit, since you get a special boots and lantern to get inside, you walk down into the cave to...More

My partner and I did the 4 hour tour inside the caves. Throughout the tour I remained dumbstruck by the stalactite and stalagmite formations, the clear water and we were enlightened on the behaviour of the horse-shoe bats and other invertebrates. Our guide was knowledgeable,...More

Great fun, spectacular caving. The clear blue/green waters are simply awesome, the speleothems magnificent and the passage shapes wonderful.

We visited the Krizna Jama with a 4 hours tour and it was really beautiful. We think that the short tour is limited and a lot of the beauty of the cave is lost however, better than nothing. The guide we had, Igor, was very...More

This cave is quite small and accessible only by a car. The stuff though is super nice, the tour guides are very knowledgeable and have an interesting way of explaining. Don't forget to dress up appropriately as it is cold inside the cave even in...More

We decided on Krizna instead of other two more well known caves: Postjna looking too touristy with the train, and Skocjan forbidding photos. That was one of the best decisions of our lives! It is a REAL cave - no lights but your headlamp, silence...More

The 7 hour tour is ideal for speleologists and professional cave explorers and might be too much for the casual cave explorer or tourist. The 1.5 or 4 hour tours offer plenty of information and cave experience.

Eva is correct. Right in front of the "office" and its free. Just make sure you have a tour scheduled. You cannot enter the cave without being part of a tour and the office is only open if there is a tour scheduled.
