We really wanted to play this course because it is supposed to be the oldest course in England. Unfortunately they would not accept County cards from.clubs outside Devon and Cornwall. We paid £35 each which was ok. The course was very difficult indeed. What added to the level of difficulty was that finding the fairway and next tee was not... More

Played RND yesterday with a couple of business associates. Course is located in Northam part of Bideford, it is signposted but best to use a satnav. There was ample parking when I arrived around 11am. Had coffee and bacon bap before playing and food was served quickly and very tasty! Pro shop very friendly too, I actually called to check... Great course with a lot of history. I was fortunate to play this golf course with a number of others in the area one after another and the Royal North Devon stacks up quite nicely. With a club like this one you will need to be ready to step back in time, it is dated and I expect a lot... More

We recently visited the Royal North Devon Golf Course not to play Golf, but to host a Wake for a much beloved, close Family Member. This was a catered event (I believe the options for booking were either a Hot or Cold Buffet - we opted for cold) and we also had full use of the Function Space and Bar.... More

An excellent course and club. Staff and members friendly and welcoming. In fact the staff in the clubhouse couldn't do enough to make our three days memorable for all the right reasons. Will definitely go again next year!

This is an interesting course, the greens were the best of the weeks holiday. The layout is tricky and the weather will always contribute to the challenge. The clubhouse is a museum and any serious golfer will want to spend time browsing all the artefacts. The food was good, the cake was excellent.

Great course, great clubhouse and the friendliest of members. A sausage bap will keep you going for at least 18 holes. Sunday lunches are a feast and need to be booked well in advance.

From 0830 to 1630 daily, the most glorious food is available in the club's restaurant. It is open to the public and reservations are highly recommended for Sunday lunch. Meal size options range from small, regular and to children's. There is a great selection of foods with highlights being the full British breakfast and Sunday roasts. Sandwiches served deli-fashion are... More

The golf course is how golf should be,natural. Stunning views out to Lundy Island with stunning internal views of the hazards you have to negotiate to post a good score round the course.

I thought this to be a great experience of a great old True links golf course stepped in history. Any true golfer will appreciate this true experience of sheep and horses keeping the Fairways cut🙂👌🏻 There is a museum in the club which is quite well kept. The food is good and staff as well as the members are very... More
