- Reet’n’PeetAltrincham, United Kingdom24 contributionsA really special experienceI was treated to a trip to White Peak alpaca farm for my birthday. Having heard about it from friends, I have wanted to visit for a long time and it did not disappoint! It was such a lovely, peaceful place. The alpacas seem so happy and well cared for. Jake, our guide, was really friendly and extremely knowledgable. There wasn’t a single question he didn’t know the answer to! We had a great time walking the alpacas and learning all about them. We completed the experience by watching Joanna spin the alpaca wool in her shop which was really cool. Thanks White Peak for a really special day!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 November 2023
- zebra22Manchester, United Kingdom4 contributionsHighly Recommended! We booked White Peak Alpaca Farm at the last minute for a birthday trip and had an amazing time! Joanna and Jake were both so lovely, kind and welcoming and really made the experience with their knowledge and chat about all the animals, it’s clear to see just how much they love and care for them all. I had wanted to visit for a long time after coming across them on Instagram and it didn’t disappoint, the Alpacas are just lovely, we walked Raisin and Jeronimo and it was a fun experience. Seeing the other animals they have on the farm was a lovely bonus, including the Rhea’s, Wallaby’s, Pig, Donkey, Shetland Pony, Geese, Turkey’s and the beautiful Golden Pheasants. They also have a gift shop with some beautiful items in it and were more than happy for us to have a wander around the farm again after the walk to spend a little more time with all the animals. Would highly recommend a trip here, I’m so glad we finally managed to visit and plan to come back again in the future. Thanks for such a lovely experience!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 November 2023
- Anna H1 contributionReally fun and personal experience. Beautiful animals 🦙My husband surprised me with an alpaca walk at white peak alpacas for our anniversary. Jake introduced us to all the different alpacas in their pen, and we had cuddles and a few photos before taking Titus and Germanicus out on the walk. It was just the two of us on the day, and Jake was really knowledgeable and told us all about alpacas and how they are cared for - they're clearly very well loved and looked after! We had such a lovely morning and absolutely adored the alpacas. I even came away with some alpaca wool for knitting from the shop, hand spun by Joanna at the farm. It was a lovely touch knowing the names of the alpacas the fleece had been sheered from. I'd recommend the experience to anybody who loves animals. We may even come back again ourselves in the summer. Such beautiful animals.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 December 2023

- k22lmgNorthwich, United Kingdom71 contributionsA very special experience.Absolutely recommend this experience. The alpacas were so interesting, lovely to cuddle and to walk with. Joanne gave us lots of interesting information and our grandchildren aged 7+ 11 were able to lead their own alpaca. All questions were answered with enthusiasm. Will definitely be going again.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 12 May 2024

- Ski74170Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, France25 contributionsRelaxing walk with the AlpacasThe Alpacas were friendly and calm, it's a lovely place to walk with the animals and meet some of their friends. Following a meet & greet with the Alpacas we took a couple of them for a walk which was a very relaxing activity in beautiful surroundings. The walk is flat and easy. Joanne shared her knowledge and some amusing stories about the alpacas. No hard sell but a great shop selling alpaca products. We'll be back for another walk soon.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 May 2024

I highly recommend animal lovers of any age to visit White Peak Alpaca Farm. We took our nine year old daughter while visiting my family from California and we all loved the experience. Hand walking the alpacas was one of the most relaxing things I've ever done, these are such chill creatures! Joanna was amazing at giving us information and personal insight in the breed, the camel family as a whole, and how all the animals interacted with each other.
Along with two fields of alpacas, there are also a wallaby and her baby, a pony, donkey, ostriches and countless other birds. This is such a laidback way to get close to nature while also supporting the upkeep of these wonderful animals.
Of course, we now want our own alpaca - or three, as Joanna told us they're pack animals and need to be in trios.

Such a lovely experience! My boyfriend purchased vouchers direct from White Peak Alpacas (you just call up!) for my birthday.
Had a cuddle with Peanut and Titus then me and my partner walked Raisin and Peanut. Joanna was great, really knowledgeable about the animals- you can tell how much she cares for them. They also keep vicunas, golden pheasants, a sheep, a donkey and turkeys there! The alpacas were the softest things EVER and Joanne gave advice on how to handle them, not that they were too much trouble.
There is also a shop on site with a huge array of items made out of alpaca wool, a lot of the items were handmade either by Joanna or people she knows.
We will be coming again, a worthwhile experience I can recommend!

Me and two of my friends went to celebrate our birthdays and we had an amazing time. We got to spend time walking the alpacas and along the walk we’re able to ask questions and told things about the alpacas. It was amazing and would recommend to any one of any age. Jake was an amazing guide and full of knowledge about the the alpacas we were walking and alpacas and other animals on the walk and made the experience all the better so thank you very much. Also took a look in the gift shop and they had some beautiful items to remember the experience.

What a fabulous experience from start to finish. I booked a walk for my grandchildren which was so enjoyable for all of us. Joanne is such a lovely lady and she showed how much she loved the animals by how she talked about them, a very informative talk as we started to get to know each alpaca and lots of opportunity for cuddles. We stayed afterwards for a walk around the farm, feeding hens, looking at the other animals and a mooch in the shop. At no time did we feel hurried and always encouraged to stop and enjoy everything we saw. It was such a pleasurable day.

Great day out for friends family kids little and big. We really enjoyed learning about the alpacas and being able to take them for a short trek. The other animals on the farm are equally as interesting, we really had a great day- thank you. We parked in the pub beside and then had lunch there after our alpaca trek- highly recommend the food was very good.

I got a Wowcher alpaca experience for Christmas, and went along with my family. Had a brilliant time cuddling the alpacas (Peanut was my favourite) and Joanna gave us a talk about them. Managed to get a couple of family pics with them, which is not easy with 3 under 5s!! Also spent a bit of time seeing the other animals - wallabies, sheep, owl, chickens, goats etc. and of course Boris the turkey. We spent about an hour and a half at the farm and would have stayed longer but it was really cold. Will definitely be going back in the summer to do an alpaca walk and spend a bit more time there.

Arrived for 10am booking just mate and I so we took an alpaca each on walk with Joanna, she is so informative about the alpachas, very interesting.
The walk was lovely seeing the other alphacas on way, wallabis, chickens, donkey, shetland pony, goat etc.
We got to cuddle the alpachas once back from walk and take pictures.
Lovely walk around again without the alpachas after and able to take our time.
Lovely morning out. The shop was great to have a nose around, lots of things to buy. Thanks Joanna.

Had such a wonderful time here. Enjoyed a cuddle with an alpaca and then took them for a walk. Joanne shared her vast knowledge about the alpacas and the other animals on the farm. Her enthusiasm and love for the animals was so obvious. A wonderful experience which I would highly recommend.

I have bought a wowcher deal, but how do I book the experience? There doesn’t seem to be booking facilities on the website, or am I missing it? Thanks :)
Written 26 August 2019
Just give them a ring and they book you in on the date you want :)

I'm weighing up buying a wowcher deal for two adults, but how much would it cost for my 5 year old and 3 year old to come along as well?
Written 7 May 2019
£20 all together for the four of you. If you want to have cuddles/pictures with the alpacas it’s an extra £5 x
