Wonderful beach to walk on, paddle or swim or watch kite surfers. Very quiet. One bar at near the beach entrance otherwise bring your own refreshments

Amazing sunset even though it was a cloudy day!!
As we arrived at the bar we automatically got a strange vibe from the staff didn’t seem very friendly, we had 3 drinks each watched the sunset!
We got a taxi on the way and the taxi driver said he would come back for us at 7pm as we stood to go to wait for him the bar lady came running out shouting no no no that’s not yours as she had booked one for another family I tried to explain we had ordered a taxi but she wouldn’t have any of it pointing her finger at us running to the taxis even though 2 taxis pulled up at the same time!
Unfortunately due to her poor attitude I would kot re visit

Beautiful beach for a walk, very relaxing!

Water was crystal clear and views were stunning!

Beach bars are close by and ideal to grab a drink from.

One of the best beaches in Cape Verde usually very few people just watch the underwater currents in the sea.

What a huge beach this is with beautiful golden sand! The water is crystal clear and it’s lovely just to walk along so your feet just get wet. The waves can be big so you need to watch out. There’s 2 beach bars there where you can get food and drinks. Very nice!

Wonderful beach next to Santa Maria. As we were there in October, we met just a few people there, so it was very romantic. Sitting on the black stones and watching the sunset was one of the best experiences of our Sal holiday. There are two ways how to get there from Santa Maria. You can walk along the beach or (as we did) through the little Sahara ( :D ) around the Riu Hotel which is definitely more African and I recommend it to all adventure seekers!

Relaxed at the Ponta Preta Beach Club at the end of a day sight seeing. Had a wonderful cocktail but can't recall its name unfortunately.

Great beach with top quality sand, very big with lots of space! Beacause Sal is quite windy, the sea is most of time a bit rough so a good portion of common sense where to swim is always good.

This beach is what you'd expect; Sand/Sea. However it has a rather large, almost unique completely golden yellow Sand Dune, right in the middle of it. It looks completely out of place but is cute, nevertheless. The beach has a shop on and two bars where they serve food and drink. Its a very quiet beach but can get extremely windy at times.
