About
Little Straw Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery with vineyard plantings dating back to the mid-70's. The majority of our wines are made from our estate-grown grapes. In our large, airy wine shop you can sample our wines free of charge, although we encourage cash donations to our local food bank. We offer an eclectic array of wine-related condiments, regional literature, and gift items to round out your visit. Between noon and 6 pm daily you can enjoy a tapas-style meal in our on-site lounge, the Barrel Top Grill.

We experienced Little Straw Vineyards two years ago and had a wonderful experience, so we decided to return there this year.
From the moment we arrived we didn’t feel that warm inviting feel, it was more like we were bothering them. This was unfortunate.
The main reason we returned was to purchase a few bottles for family member. The young man at the desk was confused and not friendly. Maybe we caught him on a bad day.
This was an unfortunate experience.

We visited 11 wineries in Kelowna over a 2 day visit, tasting wines in all. This was one that we would not recommend to include on your tour. The staff member that welcomed us yawned a lot while we were there and did not show any interest in us and basically just went through the motions.

Terrible service from someone who CLEARLY did not want to be there or help us in any way. He offered no information and could not even smile. VERY UNWELCOMING staff and atmosphere.
So many other nice wineries in the region - go to them!

So unwelcoming- that is how we felt.
We could have the tasting at the counter. It was just not what you would expect, no chairs or nice outdoor patio. Not much to talk about. It felt rushed, getting it done and over with.
Some of the wines were good though - have to be honest about that ofcourse.
We have had many tastings in Europe- completely different experience. Fortunately we had another tasting in Kelowna which was excellent! This was a disappointing one at little Straw.

I been meaning to take my husband to lunch at the Little Straw Vineyard for a while since I met their Chef Kacia. This place did not disappoint! My husband and a couple of our friends were very happy with the food and of course the view and the service too. I highly recommend and will go back again. Thank you!

We visited Little Straw on our mother/daughter wine tour day yesterday. There were 20 of us on the tour. We had an amazing experience. Of the 6 wineries we visited, this one was the best tasting experience. The chef did our tasting and he was excellent. He really spoke to the whole group and made our time there really fun. I like the yellow (it will make sense when you go) and the ice wine is amazing. I like that they do small bottles, brilliant! Put this one on your tour, you won't be disappointed!

Since moving here last year I've found that Little Straw Vineyards is pretty much the least expensive place to get reasonable wines. When I'm buying wine it's my go to place.
They do Tapas, but I haven't tried it.

Little Straw is a great Winery with wonderful wines, and their restaurant and balcony, both with a stunning view, serves great food! The service is 'over the top' both in the Tasting Room and Restaurant! The owners also are so generous when it comes to Community support!

Wonderful wines to sample and fantastic food for lunch on the patio with chef Trevor grilling. Dinner on Thursday - Sunday at the Barrel Top Grill is fabulous as well!
