Only a very small museum but a number of interesting exhibits and some useful things to entertain the young ones such as a sand tray and lego pit. Charming staff.

Very interesting local museum. It is only one room in the old town hall, but there is plenty to see. I spent about an hour going round. Richmond and the surrounding area has a varied history and the museum includes exhibits from early archaeological finds...More

Richmond museum, is a nice little museum in the centre of town in the town hall, it’s small and maybe only an hour or so worth of entertainment but it’s worth the visit, a lot of entertesting bits that you won’t see elsewhere and things...More

It is very small, not too much to see or learn. One could make it more fun, more appealing, more attractive. It is located in the centre of Richmond, close to the river Thames.More

I'm local and I have visited this museum a handful of times already. I usually go for the temporary exhibitions and end up looking at a lot more, as there's so much to see and read. The volunteers at the welcome desk are always great...More

My children age 7&6 had fun learning about the Bronze Age and making a pot out of clay. Thank you Richmond museum for a fun 2 hours.

This is a small museum on the second floor of the old Town Hall. It tells the history of Richmond from earliest times, including the Royal connections. A poignant exhibition depicts the life of the poor of Richmond and what it would have been like...More
