We visited Richmond Theatre on Saturday night to see "Not Dead Enough". The theatre itself is really beautiful and located so close to the train station it makes getting there an back really simple. They offer a fantastic service which allows you to pre-order certain refreshments for the interval which are then delivered to your seat, this was absolutely brilliant... More

We went to this Theatre for an 80th birthday celebration event. What a lovely building, very unassuming from the outside with a fairly small frontage but inside is a different matter. With Victorian style decorations and a lovely chandelier hanging from an impressively domed ceiling, this place just oozes character . Plush red velvet adorns the interior and you felt... More

This is a fabulous old theatre with all the history and tradition you could wish for. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that our seats in the Upper Circle were cramped and uncomfortable which detracted some of the enjoyment of the show.

Only been here once. Birthday treat to see Swan Lake. Brilliant ballet and a great view of the stage. A bar on every floor which for me is what theatre is about. A chance to chill and people watch.

We came to see the show 'The Million Dollar Quartet' which was fabulous. At the end everyone was, literally, dancing in the aisles. But this is a review of the theatre, and not the show. This is a beautiful old theatre, small-to-medium sized, and very ornately decorated. The bar is rather small but they get around this by having an... More

Very nice, beautifully decorated, old fashioned theatre. Good bar, fairly comfortable seating, legroom a little limited. Good, but not free, parking nearby, and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk.

We received prompt attention when collecting our tickets and being shown to our seats and enjoyed 145 minutes of great farce brought up to date with lots of topical ad ins!! It was a polished performance with the odd ad lib thrown in and the audience loved it!

Just returned home after seeing the show Mercury. Will go again to see it when it's next there. The band and Freddie are outstanding, as were all the numbers we heard. Unfortunately, someone in the audience collapsed in the second half, and so the show was delayed for 20 minutes until the Paramedics arrived. During that time it seemed that... More

Visiting this venue with someone with mobility difficulties took the edge off of the performance we saw. Had a pre paid champayne and chocolate gift voucher for the bar. Waited for ages in a tightly packed bar with no seatng. Ended up with a tiny bottle and plastic glasses standing in a draughty corridor being shoved by everyone. Our view... More
