We had a trip to Hare hill gardens, the flowers were blooming. There are a couple of benches were you can have a picnic. I think it's a bit over grown in areas. It doesn't take long to walk around it's only small compared to some gardens you can visit. The main path down is well kept and suitable for... More

Nature was working its magic at Hare Hill gardens and everything seemed to be blooming. The bank holiday proved the ideal time to take a picnic and catch the rhododendrons and azaleas – whilst the little ones search for the hares – or maybe even a frog or two. Whether you’re interested in plants, nature, photography or just enjoy peace... More

Lovely small garden to visit, especially in spring/summer as the flowers are in bloom. Within Hare Hill is a woodland area, a few plants for sale and small second hand bookshop. There is a walled garden, as a great place for a picnic, and the gardens are well cared for by the Trust. You could also take a walk for... More

Firstly, If I wasn't a national trust member I would have been furious. As I am a member and live not far it was all free part of my membership. It is very small, probably a 15ish minute walk around. Not a lot to see due to the time of year however the walled garden made a lovely place to... More

As National trust members it was free to park and enter Hare Hill, if I would have had to pay then I would have been disappointed. Small area of woodland style gardens with a walled garden at its centre. Tranquil but only a couple of hours and that is with a picnic.

Hare Hill is not well kept and was overgrown in places. The walled garden was devoid of attractive plants and flowers and I have visited better walled gardens in my local parks for free. There are far better NT gardens near by that are much better value for money. The toilet facilities were not up to the usual NT standard... More

Paid £7 per adult and £3.50 for children to essentially visit a park... there's very little that distinguishes this as a national trust location. Went for the Cadbury's egg hut and you don't even hunt a egg! You hunt for letters and then presented with a measly cream egg at the end... We feel ripped off to be honest

We went today to do the Easter hunt. We are NT members but the hunt was £2 a child with the promise of a chocolate bunny at the end. The staff were lovely at helpful. The children enjoyed doing the hunt. My average rating is because it costs £7 for an adult to go into the gardens and £3.50 a... More

We did the circular walk from Alderly Edge. When we made it to Hare Hill we was a little lost and was looking for signs/ maps. The staff member who approached us was very unfriendly, unwelcoming and down right rude. He simply could have directed us towards the route or map but was more interested in us being aware we...
