Easily found - near the Marina and McKee's Clock. There's not a lot to see, but the Tourist Information staff are helpful and will provide information on the area's attractions - and directions. One of the oldest buildings in Ireland - in continuous use, It's a protected building. Worth seeing (once) for visitors. …

Visited here because the Heritage Museum is closed every Monday (👎🏼) I was looking for a 2019 calendar which would feature Bangor, to bring to the U.S. when we go on holiday. The assistant could not have been more helpful - bringing down every calendar which was on a high display rack & checking them for me. When I made my purchases she found ‘the last’ Bangor bag in the shop for me to carry! What a great advertisement for our town! She is a credit to Bangor!…

The tower house is now the tourist information office in Bangor, which seems very apt. Local leaflets are in the main part of the building, and attractions in the rest of the province are displayed in the tower. The history of the tower is displayed outside. The staff inside are very helpful.…
