As we were very lucky with the weather we took our time wandering around the general marina area. Really lovely with Bangor shops, restaurants and cafes nearby.

Very pleasant area for an afternoon stroll, fish & chips or maybe an ice cream cone. Walking the two harbours gives some great views of Bangor from the seaward side.

we were fortunate and enjoyed the most amazing weather while in Bangor, therefore the Bangor Marina was a treat :-) one simply wanted to board one of the boats and set off ... but instead we simply enjoyed this wonderful marina and had Lunch :-)...More

Beautiful area, stayed in a bed and breakfast lodge looking over the marina, lovely walks a long the front. Great children's fun park on the marina and cafe. Town is walking distance lots of shops restaurants and pubs.

This review was for the Marina. There is a hotel opposite, The Marine Court, and it is approx ten mins walk to the train and bus station
