Came on a school trip with 8/9yr olds. Led by two friendly but strict women the kids learnt about the reserve & the River Tees before heading out to the reserve looking for assorted things to do with nature eg. Flowers, insects etc.. After lunch...More

Good parking, paths and signage although unfortunately the sea fret made it difficult to see much at all. However did see some orchids along the way.

Great views of the Tees and the harbour mouth. Free parking It was ideal spot when the Brent Delta came into Able. It's also a nice place just to get some fresh air and chill.

Nice quite beach with contrasting heavy industry making for a unique view. The kids loved playing in the sand junes. We'll visit again in the summer and hope to sea the seals!

You have to head from Hartlepool to seaton Carew - then the brown signs lead the way. The reserve will be on your right just after a bridge
