Me and my husband go on this walk a lot. Start at Seaton and walk along the beach (as far as will allow you) to Hartlepool. A stroll around the marina, or a visit to the museum - it’s a lovely day out. We like...More

Yes there are times that dog's are excluded from this beach. But it is a nice-clean stretch of beach. Sometimes people of the town forget how good it is.

Very large beach, mostly covered when it is high tide. Good walkalong the beach or the promenade. The main attraction apart from the large sandy area was for us the variety of bird life. Lots of oystercatchers, dunlin, sanderlings and assorted gulls. The Surfside restaurant...More

A long and often almost deserted beach with a mixture of sand and pebbles. Looks very inviting on a hot summers day. Parking can be a bit of a challenge.

I go regularly to the beach three or four times a week as I take the dog for his exercise and a paddle in the sea. Excellent for all ages, plenty of parking just to sit and relax and watch the world go by

Hi there I've probably missed your visit so apologies. I have no idea what crabbing is 😱. If it involves rock pools then saltburn is the place to go.
