This is a well done area on the prom topped of with the great statute of our Eric. The quotes around the floor are very funny especially for anyone who remembers the Morecambe and wise show. Great views of the bay are to be found...More

A must see, though I doubt he ever wore plus fours. All around are the sars names that guested on the show and all the daft sayings and if you fancy there's Erics Cafe across the road.

Tribute to the late Eric Morecambe unveiled by her Majesty the Queen and is part of a upgrading of the entire seafront, a very worthwhile visit.

Definitely well worth a visit, especially if you a fan. The area around the statue is very nice and the steps have all the words to their famous song "bring me sunshine " on there.

I was hoping for a colossal statue of this 'comedian' but it's disappointingly small - perhaps 120% life size. I was more curious in certain people (locals) discussing its scrap metal value tbh

This occupies a prominent position on Morecambe's seafront and is very well presented All Eric's famous phrases are set in circular granite slabs around the base and offers a great photo opportunity with the sea and sky as a backdrop

Fun to take your photo with especially copying the pose. Good advertisement for Morecambe. Adds to the front.
