The one for the battle is about 100 yards further upstream, but this one looks OK, and you can walk or cycle across without traffic, there are excellent viewing points for castle and Wallace monument, so great for photography
Amazing craftsmanship. Great views of the river. There's so much to see in Stirling with the castle and the Wallace Monument but the Stirling Bridge shouldn't be overlooked. Not the original bridge destroyed in the battle it is however right next to where the battle...More
Perhaps my vision of history enlarged my expectations. Just a bit disappointing. You might find a place to park if you are lucky. Then the bridge itself, although steeped in history, is really nothing special. I guess you need to have a higher appreciation.

This attraction is well worth a visit. Some local free car parking. The views are magnificent and you can see Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle from here. Walk across the bridge and take your memory back into the history this area has seen.
