Lovely gallery with very interesting exhibits. At the time of my visit amasing history of Scotland . Well worth a visit

Very interesting museum. Lots of history. Great place to take children. Cafe inside the museum. Free parking available. Loved the tapestries done by children years ago. Also great poetry done by children this year.

The football and curling stone are what draw you in, but the DVD (which is long but worth it if you have the time) is absolutely fascinating, both for the content and for the time that it was made.
