A pleasant half day out.

Set in a large area with a most interesting Conservatory, lots of tropical plants. A very large lake and a childrens play area. and a cafe.

I often take my dogs on their lead to this park. I wish other dog walkers would do the same. It gives you great piece of mind, as you walk around. Only interrupted by mature ladies walking along with little handbag dogs, off their leads and yapping away at anything and everything.

Always loved this place from childhood through adulthood and now as the Grim Reaper stalks me on the train. Just a lovely ambience.

I have visited Hesketh Park many times as a child and recently during a family illness, still as beautful. Had our wedding photos there in 1986.

This is a fantastic park that is kept clean and tidy. There is a choice of walks and directions, a well equipped children's play park, a cafe, a lake with ducks and outdoor gym equipment.

Hesketh Park is a pleasant park away from the bustle of Lord Street. It was a place from a nice stroll but nothing out of the ordinary.
