The Verity statue on Ilfracombe Pier is a startling addition to a traditional coastal harbour. It dominates the scenary and is a wonderful addition to the town.

All I can say is you'll either love it or hate it. It's certainly a striking statue. It looks out to sea and is certainly the centre point when heading into the harbour at Ilfracombe.

I am not a big art fan, but an interesting piece that tells a story and is located in a position that makes a statement with some lovely views around.

Didn't mind the statue itself but felt Ilfracombe Harbour completely the wrong setting, it needs to be in a modern environment.

Worth a visit. Staue by Damian Hirst. She stand poudly looking out to sea. Made of Bronze. The statue is an allegory for truth and justice.

An imposing statue right at the end of the harbour! The detail carved was stunning if a little graphic but that's Damien Hurst! Lots of information available about it.
