This exciting and award winning, all weather, educational attraction provides a fascinating insight into the watery world of North Devon. The aquarium houses a diverse collection of local aquatic life in beautifully recreated natural habitats. The exhibits provide visitors with a unique zoned journey experience starting from the source of an Exmoor stream, down river to an estuary, local rockpool, Ilfracombe Harbour to Lundy and its marine reserve. Complimentary children's quizzes following fun trails are offered on entry. The aquarium also has a funky fish gift shop and a cafe, selling locally sourced delicious items.

Interesting visit to the aquarium, which specializes in the local Devon fish species around the Devon coastline, quite a small place and not very good value (only took about 15 mins to view) not too expensive though and good quality ice-cream there.

I had read the reviews and was expecting it to be small but not quite that small, literally took us 20 mins. We had a two year old in our group and she enjoyed it so I would say unless you have kids don't bother.

This cost £4.75 to get in and was well worth a visit. Small but nice and we enjoyed a lovely ice cream outside on the balcony afterwards

Overpriced. Sadly this cafe charges 30p to have hot milk (£2.10 coffee with cold milk, £2.40 with hot milk) which really rankled. Plus my mug was not full (at least an inch of free space) so I requested it be topped up. The waitress bought...More
