An independent glassblowing studio / gallery in Sandown, Isle of Wight. A family run business now in it's 20th year making beautiful hand sculpted art glass inspired by the natural surroundings of the island. Witness the magic of this ancient craft with their free glass blowing demonstrations which happen throughout the day (in season) Not only is every piece a stunning work of art, much of gallery itself was designed and hand built by the family, giving it a truly memorable touch. Their vibrant and unique glass makes perfect souvenirs and gifts for all occasions. The Evans family look forward to meeting and introducing you to the world of glass! This is well worth a visit. Only a small workshop in Sandown but makes the most beautiful items. He is very happy to demonstrate his craft and explain what he is doing and there is seating to view all that is going on.

Fab place to visit! Called in to have a look round the workshop with my husband & met Ed who make all the glass work. He chatted to us while he made a beautiful glass heart and told us all about the glass making processes. Very interesting & enjoyable way to spend some time. Hope to return soon and join one of the glass blowing courses Ed offers customers.

This is a stunning shop, filled with the most artistic yet functional pieces of glass. Ed and Hannah are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed an hour just chatting and finding our more about glass and swapping business tips!
We purchased a couple of small pieces and then became tempted by some beautiful glasses and a carafe. There was no pressure to buy and Hannah actually unpacked more stock so that we could choose the colours we liked best.
There are a number of glass studios on the island but Glory Art glass seems more competitively priced and friendlier, as well as more subtle in its artistry and use of colour celebrating the glass rather than over saturating the colour (but that may just be my personal preference)
We will absolutely be back as we are now tempted to book a lesson just for the experience! There are also demonstrations available in the summer months
Ed also makes memorial glass which is beautiful and I’m quite tempted by this also if my mum agrees!

Visited this little gem. The display of beautiful items were mesmerising. I want to purchase a vase but I was travelling home by train so it was not practical. I plain to order a vase on my return to be delivered. Keep up the good work.

This was brilliant!
It IS well worth the trip just to browse through the beautiful vibrant glass pieces and Hannah's glass jewellery.
But what I really wanted was to make some myself, and Ed and Hannah could not have been nicer. I was an unbooked walk-in, they said the furnace would be hot enough in half an hour and they made the experience a joy. Ed was totally unhurried helping me gather and work the glass, and was happy to chat through what was happening inside the glass itself. And when it came to making my coloured piece he really listened to what I wanted (a flame) and the secondary colours I wanted to see peeking out of it, and was committed to helping me pick colours and showing me how apply them to and to work the glass to get the right effect. And my beautiful glass arrived this morning and I'M SO HAPPY with it.

We came upon The Glory art studio walking from our hotel to the beach We are so glad we did, the husband and wife who run the studio are a lovely friendly couple. The glass they produce is beautiful and of high quality. We were lucky enough to watch a demonstration, all I can say is, he knows his materials well and is a very skilled glass blower. They are so knowledgeable about their craft it was refreshing to watch. I would highly recommend a visit it was one of the highlights of our holiday
