The Isle of Wight Zoo is home to one of Britain's largest collection of tigers, many of whom are rescue animals. With several superb new enclosures modeled on natural tiger habitats in India, the zoo is a fantastic place to see these wonderful animals relaxing. A number of other animals also live there, including lemurs, jaguars and lions. Family friendly with disabled access throughout.

We booked with Red Funnel ferries which meant that we got about a 1/3 off. The kids loved the monkeys, tigers and Meerkats particularly. A good amount for us for a couple of hours. We enjoyed having a picnic in the grounds. Worth a visit.

There's a tour or talk almost every hour. We took a one year old and so we didn't manage to spend too long at each animal but still spent a few hours here. A good number of big cats. A small play area too. Ticket allows re-entry within seven days too and under 3's are free.

It was a chilly morning so the animals were reluctant to leave their warm beds but a very interesting visit

The facilities, environment and aesthetics of this zoo are pleasant but basic, but in a way this is irrelevant. This is not a large safari park or city zoo. This is a home for some of the most beautiful, but vulnerable animals. The tours of the animal areas are vital to fully understand the ethos of the zoo and how... More

Vista's whilst on holiday at easter. Family of four with one 8 year old and one 13 year old. We all really enjoyed the day. With lots of talks, feeds, and encounters for us all to enjoy. None of the talks overlapped like at other zoos so you could go to every one. Although it is only a small zoo... More

We come here ever time we visit the Isle of Wight. The zoo is only small but children and adults love it. we visited over the easter weekend so the had a egg activity where we had to walk around and find different eggs for a chocolate treat at the end. Our 2 year old loved it looking for all... More

Excellent zoo with stunning big cats - lions, tigers, a jaguar, white lions and a white tiger. Reasonably priced with a great café. Worth using the "return for a pound" option, our tip is to visit later in the day when the big cats are up and about.

Lovely personal zoo, with some awesome animals. Each day has a list of things to do and makes for an interesting visit when followed. Children have something to do by collecting stamps on a card as we went round.
