The bridge is halfway down the rock.was closed for repair when I visited but you can still walk round rather than across it. It affords great views

It's fun to cross the bridge as it moves slightly in the wind. The views from the bridge are very pretty

It's a nice suspension bridge, but proved to be much harder to find than you'd expect. Worth to see, but nothing special really.

Walked across this during my decent from the top of the Rock - the wind wasn't too strong, so I was OK! A strong bridge, so safe enough - albeit good to be off after a great experience!!

It’s a bridge, not long, built for tourists when there are several footpath alternatives. If you are there, do it of course. But don’t otherwise bother. The Park is so much more than this.

The bridge was on our walk down from top of the rock. We were fortunate it was not crowded. Another couple there so we each took turns taking photos while each was on the bridge. View was stupendous.

This bridge was not here when I visited Gibraltar 20 years ago. It was a must see and walk this time. It is possible to walk around it if you are of a nervous disposition! It was enjoyable to walk across and the views over the sea and bay are wonderful.

I thought this was not well signposted from the main road so be alert.

I walked this bridge a couple of times and loved it. I felt totally safe. Highly recommend you do it if you do not have a fear of heights.

Came across this as part of our Up the Rock, around the Rock, Inside the Rock, Under the Rock personal tour. I does move a bit, but looks pretty safe to me. Nice photo opportunity.

Tuesday 17th May and we visited the Rock of Gibraltar and we took the Cable Car to the Upper Rock.

We decided to walk the 3 kilometres back down into the Town so that we could see the attractions along the way and this bridge was one of them.

At the time of our visit it was not very busy so easy to walk across without encountering too many people and it did not wobble too much. At one point we took a photo with no one else on the Bridge.

From the Bridge there were great panoramic views across Gibraltar Town, the Mediterranean Sea towards Spain and the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa.

Having walked across the Bridge, in one direction, we took the semi-circular pathway, behind it, back to where we started. From the vantage point of the pathway we could see the full expanse of the Bridge in all its glory with the wonderful panoramic backdrop.

It is not very well signposted, however the map we were given, when paying for the tickets, proved to be invaluable.

We also saw Haynes Cave Battery nearby, with the old gun still in place.

From the information provided on the board we learnt that the bridge is 75 metres (just over 246 feet) long. That is equivalent to seven and a half double decker buses.

It was a long walk down in the heat, but places of interest like the bridge, made it so worthwhile.
