An excellent museum, I learned a lot about the origins of the Isle of Man, its political system, and also the internment camps of WWII. Entry is free..

The museum takes a bit of finding, and is up a steep hill from the Promenade. The recommended route includes using the lift in the multi-storey car park, but there is still a climb. There is a variety of interesting stuff about Manx life to...More

Much more interesting than your usual museum, something for everyone to enjoy. Free entry. Access via a small bridge from the top of a car park at the rear of the shops in Douglas.

I would have considered it average as a museum. However, the Racing Lines, A TT Exhibition was both interesting and informative with some great bikes on display. No charge to visit.
