Take the tram from Douglas to Laxey where you can change trams and ride to the top of Snafell (Snow Mountain) or stay on and ride to Ramsey in the north. Lots to see and explore

This is a Beautiful way of seeing the Isle of Man on a Sunny day. It is however a little expensive although Family Tickets can sometimes help

Absolutely loved it. As it was scorching in August and you could sit in the open carraiges. And take in the beautiful scenery Goes at a nice pace. Great timetables. For visiting all over the island fantastic

This triumph of Victorian engineering is a must do. It is a bit rickety a little uncomfortable and in the autumn a bit chilly. But who cares it's a great trip

It is very easy to move about and at times either side, on the way 'up' I would say the right hand side, to get a good view of the Laxey wheel.

We paid £16 each The ticket took us to Laxey on the train from Douglas. We changed at Laxey onto the Snaefell Railway and after a roam on the mountain we took the train back Laxey and then on to Douglas. We then used it to... More
