The trains are kept in wonderful condition and it is a great way to travel to Ramsey, Laxey or Snaefell. The seats are not large but you get great views of the island.

Great way to get from Douglas to Ramsey. Seats a bit small but fun to travel. Interesting views along coast. Plenty whistles when crossing roads. Fun

We returned from Ramsey on Good Friday the only passengers on the oldest train. We stopped to take photos on the journey. What an opportunity!

A nostalgic ride on the fabulous Isle of Man electric railway to visit the Laxey Wheel. The grandchikdren loved it. It has open and an enclosed carriage that takes you on a lovely scenic ride through the Isle .

We took the Laxey to Ramsey tram and it was so beautiful, from the views to the whole experience, enchanting and magical. Would highly recommend this journey. How lucky are the residents of the isle of man :)

It is very easy to move about and at times either side, on the way 'up' I would say the right hand side, to get a good view of the Laxey wheel.
