This absolute monstrosity and ridiculous waste of public funds misappropriated by Wigan Council bears no context in any sense, to the proud, industrious, conscientious people of Wigan. It's a ridiculous spin, on an ill conceived rip off, of the Easter Island effigies. This epitomizes Plagiarism...More

Not sure of the relevance of this statue and to be honest I prefer the adjoining statue of Billy Boston a person worthy of a statue.

As a Wiganer born and bred I fail to see the significance of this sculpture. If its to fill a space in a small square so be it but does not seem to have any reflection on the history of Wigan.

This sculpture is very eye catching & well worth seeing when in Wigan. It is not on the main high street so a small walk to find it.
