A 15 guage railway set in the grounds of Haigh Hall at just £1 per person it is worth it for a 20 minute ride round the woodland area , although i didnt have a dog the attraction is dog friendly

Loved my visit to the railway - another one ticked off!. Really friendly people and really long. The kids seemed to be loveing it! It trundles round the park at a lovely relaxing pace.Steam outline engine and a really good long track - great stuff

Haigh Hall Miniature Railway is set in the beautiful grounds of Haigh Hall in Wigan. There is a mile long circular track which goes around a pond. This railway is run by a dedicated band of volunteers. Well worth the £1 cost of each ride....More

If you are visiting Haigh Hall you have got to go for a ride on this railway. Friendly train crew and excellent value for money (just £1 each). Got the train out specially for my daughter on a very rainy day too.
