We hadn't even considered this pub when we left home, but after finding our chosen venue booked up we were passing so called in. It was excellent. The pub is quite traditional and 'cosy'. We had three main courses which were all really nice, especially...More

We ordered our food in advance, as there were 18 people in our party. The meals arrived together, and from starters to desserts, were delicious. There is also an extensive Specials Menu which is changed regularly. There were young ladies serving, and they were very...More

I love this place! We travel from St Helens just to get the great tasting food. The staff are always accommodating and friendly(no matter how busy they are) and the locals are also very friendly. Cannot fault on any occasion that I've visited.

Great dog friendly pub with a varied and reasonably priced menu. There are also a selection of gins and these are served in beautiful glasses with juniper berries and fever tree tonic...delicious!

Not a fancy place, but reasonable food and friendly staff. Quite small lounge, but we were lucky enough to get a seat even though it was a Friday night. Some tables outside as well.

My daughters took me her today and I must say everything was spot on. Staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was just fantastic. Well done to one and all.
