One of my favourite shops. I stock up on interesting gifts and cards when ever I visit Durham. Lovely staff too.

We were attracted to this shop by it's quirky name and the fact that I remembered it from Boris Johnson calling Jeremy Corbyn one. There is a great selection of clothes and greeting cards and well worth a visit.More

I can't remember the first time I visited the Mugwumps - possibly the 70s?? I have always loved it and while it has changed a little it is just as quirky as it has always been. A genuinely lovely shop.

This quirky little shop has been here for as long as I can remember. It is over a number of floors and the space is a little squashed - to be expected for such an old building. The stock varies each time I visit but...More
