The cruise was pleasant on the river on a lovely day. I think I expected it to be a bit longer with a closer view of the cathedral, but overall I had a good time. I would advise you to sit close to the speaker...More

It is not an overly long journey, but, hits the highlights of the river as it is near the city. A good orientation and possibly fodder for a starting point of personal explorations!

My wife and I enjoyed the boat trip, the commentary was informative and humorous. Despite there being a chilly wind we were able to shelter in the upstairs lounge and still see all the surrounding places of interest. I would thoroughly recommend

We had a lovely time. Listening interesting facts about Durham history, lovely views, time to take photographs, to chat and to enjoy the sunshine as well as the rain while in the boat.

The ‘Skipper’ gave a good commentary of what was available to been seen. The weather was awful, but the trip still happened. The river flows in a deep valley, therefore there doesn’t seem to be too much to see.

Lovely day to spend with family. I got tickets through Groupon, 2 for the price of 1 for an hours cruise on the boat with my daughter. I wouldn't say it is worth paying £8 directly on the boat .

Interesting boat trip, however it was difficult to hear the commentary as the speakers were so small and the wind was blowing. Also annoyed by the stag row seating at the boat not that this could be prevented just a heads up if going with...More

Could not hear the commentary in the lower deck as only 2 small speakers. Diesel fumes downstairs too.
