We had a lovely time. Listening interesting facts about Durham history, lovely views, time to take photographs, to chat and to enjoy the sunshine as well as the rain while in the boat.

The ‘Skipper’ gave a good commentary of what was available to been seen. The weather was awful, but the trip still happened. The river flows in a deep valley, therefore there doesn’t seem to be too much to see.

£8 each good value. Alcohol if you want it. An hours pleasant trip down the river was relaxing and nice to get history of Durham

Purchased the Groupon voucher which was excellent value at £7.95 for 2 people. (Normal price £8.00 pp) There is a nice little bar and also waitress service, served by a very naturally pleasant lady who was a credit to the tour. My criticism is that...More
