Gala is a modern, purpose built theatre with plenty of daylight in the common areas and plenty going on in the production areas. Well worth a visit

We’ve been to the Gala Theatre 4 times to see comedians / speakers. The venue holds around 500 people. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Wherever you are, you are never too far from the stage. The staff have been excellent and...More

Went on a visit to Durham to deliver a lecture on what we happen after Brexit, I was fortunate to visit this Gala Theatre. It was one of the amazing place around there.

Enjoy going to the Gala, always a good atmosphere, clean venue with good view of stage. Multi story car park underneath is cheaper on a night so can just get the lift up to venue, a few places around the venue for food and drinks...More

As far as I can see, there is nothing on at the theatre, at the moment. There may be something on at their cinema but the listings aren't up yet. Best advice is to keep checking on their website, for up to date events.
